DIY WHIPPED BODY BUTTER

Body butter is great for dry winter skin, especially for spot-treating ashy knees and elbows.  I especially like using it on my legs. I made a small batch because a little goes a long way.

Make your own with a few different ingredients; including, unrefined shea butter, coconut oil and a few more.

Using a foil tin and a pan or double boiler is the best way to melt your ingredients.

Add additional oil and mix.

Chill in the freezer until the mixture is the consistency of butter.

Whip using a hand mixer. Once it's whipped it should easily melt with the heat of your skin.

A little goes a long way, so make your batches of the DIY whipped body butter small.
